Karen Colston

"Home is where your heart is!"

My name is Karen Haley Colston, "Haley" being my maiden name. I am a proud mother of two adult daughters (Abby 28 and Erin Grace 23) and my rescue fur-baby, Miss Mabel who is 5 years old. I was born and raised in Saginaw, being the youngest of seven children. Having lived in the Chesaning-New Lothrop area for many years, I moved back to Saginaw Township about 3 ½ years ago to be closer to family.

I started in real estate in 2015 when I found myself searching for a new career. I had been employed as a Histology Technician for many years but wanted to try something totally new… AND here I am! It is actually kind of funny as I greatly disliked salespeople, especially those who would try to sell you something simply to make a sale.

For this reason, my personal motto is "HONESTY AND INTEGRITY STILL MATTER." I strive to always have my clients personal best interest in mind in any Real Estate transaction. A client's raving review means more to me than anything else in this business. I try to get to know my clients and have been blessed with many long-lasting relationships with some wonderful people of all ages.

For those occasions of 'spare time,' I love to travel especially if there is a beach or lake involved. I can usually be found with a book or a yoga mat nearby, and an occasional glass of wine.
